Rio Lagartos

Get ready for a boat tour where you get to admire more than 250 species of birds (herons, pelicans, eagles, to mention but a few) along Río Lagartos, a stunning reserve just over an hour away. The main attraction are colonies of flamingoes which acquire their distinctive pink coloring from the shrimp they feed upon in the estuary.
