Temozon

Temozón, meaning «whirlwind» in Maya, is a laid-back community, widely renowned for the smoked meat which is offered by more than 18 butcher stops on its main street. It is also famous for fine, cedar furniture which can be found in more than 60 carpentry and furniture stores in the area. Most of these businesses are family-owned and have been in operation for a number of decades, preserving and perfecting their ingredients and meat products, as well as their techniques and wood designs
